These are awesome!  I came across these ToastIt Toaster Bags (2-Pack) a month or so ago and they are the best thing!  Let’s be honest…not all of us can be 100% gluten free in the kitchen or worse yet…have two toasters…one for the non gluten free people and one for us.  Well, these things help us with that!  You put your bread in the little packets and put the packets in the toaster to toast your bread!  Waa! Laa!  Cross contamination free!!  I thought these were so cool…I had to share!!

Check them out!

Serendipity cafeSo….I went to Dunedin Florida this past weekend for a little get-away.  I did as I always do when I travel, and that was to search the internet for gluten free restaurants in the area.  I do it every time, so when I get there, I know where and what I’m eating while I’m there.  Well, I came across this little cafe’ and it said that they are are a dedicated gluten free cafe’!  Well, I couldn’t pass that up!!  I had to go!!

Well…I have to tell you…best place I have ever been!!  This place was great!  They had all kinds of things on the menu…I didn’t have to worry about the gluten and the best part is…the food was awesome!  I had french toast….do you know the last time I had french toast?  Good french toast?  Well…it was this past weekend.  They make their own gluten free bread…which was awesome!

It was a small little cafe’…which I loved…it was just big enough…they made their own gluten free muffins and everything.  I have included their facebook link as well as their website, with their menu…so…if you are ever in the Dunedin area…Tampa Bay…Clearwater…whatever…it’s worth the trip…check them out!  We need more of these cafe’s around!!

Good job Serendipity Cafe’!  Keep it up and I wish you the best of luck!!

Something made just for us Celiac people!

CeliActCeliAct has just released a complete nutritional supplement made just for us celiac people! I love it! You don’t have to have Celiac disease to take the supplement; anyone can take it…actually I think everyone should take it. It’s all good stuff for everyone. But they made it with us Celiac people in mind.
CeliAct includes Vitamin A, E, K and C, B complex, Folic Acid and B12 for all your vitamin needs. It also has Calcium, Magnesium and Vitamin D for your bones and Zinc, Glutamine and Citrus bioflavonoids for healing your intestines. They added Lactobacillus Acidophilus, Bifidobacterium Lactis, and Bacillus Coagulans, which are the good bacteria that live your gut. Research is starting to find that these bacteria may be a cure for celiac disease. They also included digestive enzymes to help break down your food and absorb the nutrients.
All of these things are what we need in our systems when having Celiac disease. When we eat gluten free, there are many vitamins and minerals that our systems are missing out on, vitamins and minerals that we need. They added all the things that we need into one pill…and its gluten free! How can you not love that?

To check out what’s included in their supplements, I have included the link here.
