gluten-free-soy-sauce-logoHey guys!  So, I tested a gluten free soy sauce, called “Little Soya”…besides the fact that the packaging is awesome and so cute…the sauce itself is amazing.  You can’t tell the difference between regular soy sauce and the gluten free…it’s really that good.  The taste was perfect.

I made some Chinese food with it…some chicken stir fry and fried rice…awesome.  Kids couldn’t get enough.  The kids were even using it to spice up their every day foods.

They come in these little packages that you can put in your purse or car and bring with you.  You can reseal the package if you don’t use it all and the best part is that they have no GMO and the sodium is really really low.

Make sure you check them out! You can purchase it online at Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Little-Soya-Gluten-Soy-Sauce/dp/B00ARP2YGG/ref=sr_1_1?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1362540670&sr=1-1) or check out their website at Little Soya to see where you can purchase it locally.

SLD LogoSo Sara Lee contacted me to let me know that they have taken extra measures to ensure that their sliced-to-order turkey, chicken and ham deli meats are gluten free.  I thought this was great news, as I always stuck to Boars Head brand products, because they were the only deli meats to make a point of letting us know that they were 100% gluten free.  I really think most gluten intolerant people were doing the same thing…so this is one more deli brand that we can add to our lists!  They have sent me some recipes for you try out for the colder weather coming…so try them out and let us know what you think of the recipes.  Sara Lee has also been generous enough to send some coupons to me to give away to my readers…so…if you make one of the recipes, send me your thoughts on the recipe and also some pics and I will send you out some coupons!!  Send your pics and info to me at info@manageceliac.com

Can’t wait to see your pics and here your feedback!!!  Enjoy and hope everyone has a very Happy Thanksgiving and stays warm!!

P.S. Just remember to use gluten free items, such as gluten free soy sauces etc in the recipes!

Ingredients:

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 egg
  • 2-3 slices of Sara Lee® Deli Sliced-to-Order Virginia Brand Ham; roughly chopped

Add eggs and let cook until they begin to set.  Using a heat-resistant spatula, push the set eggs into the center of the pan allowing the uncooked eggs to run underneath.  Continue doing this until they are almost completely cooked.

Add in ham, onions and cheese and give a quick stir to distribute the ingredients throughout.  Remove from heat and stir until ham is warmed and cheese is melted.  Serve immediately.

Morrocco Method Int’l does more than gluten free hair care!

Blood_of_the_Dra_4ee91946954a2So, I did a review on Morrocco Method’s gluten free shampoo and hair care products a few weeks ago and I loved them.  I thought they were great, smelled great and did a super job on the hair.  They sent me more stuff to try out….

Morrocco Method sent me their raw-vegan “Blood of the Dragon styling gel” and “Feng Shea exfoliant and facial scrub”.

First I tried the exfoliant and facial scrub.  When I first used it, the first thing was the smell..awesome.  To be honest, the first time I used the product, I didn’t think it actually cleaned my face…I felt like there was still “stuff” left on my face.  So, I tried it couple more times….I finally figured out what it was!  The exfoliant was so good…that my face was smooth!  So, to me, it felt as if my face still had oil on it or something…it didn’t…it was just that the skin was smooth and I wasn’t used to feeling it like that!  If you are looking for a gluten free, all natural, exfoliant or facial scrub…I highly recommend this one.

As for the styling gel…I have to say…this was also on my awesome list.  It kept my hair styled the way I like it, but it was still bouncy. I don’t like the gels that make your hair hard.  It really made my hair feel soft, yet it kept its form.  Oh..and you don’t need a lot of it.  I made the mistake the first couple of times of putting a bunch in my hands, because that’s what I was used to…you don’t need a lot…so a little goes a long way.  I would definitely put this on your santa’s list….great stocking stuffers!!

They also sent me more samples of their different shampoos…I haven’t found one yet that I didn’t like…but as I said in the other review….shampoo your hair twice and don’t expect it to lather, because it’s not going to.  Anyone who has used all natural products, will know that they never lather the way that the chemical products do…but they clean so much better!!

Let’s be honest about the pricing though.  If you are looking for pricing that is in the ballpark of Walmart prices…it’s not going to happen.  All natural products are always more expensive.  My suggestion is to buy the trial sizes…try them out before putting out a bunch of money.  The trial sizes are awesome for stocking stuffers though…great size and price…so you can hint to Santa!

GFreely….what an awesome idea!

logoSo, this company contacted me and asked if I would like to try their product..of course, I said yes.  Not really knowing a whole lot about it, as I had skimmed across their information a couple of times, but never took a real look at.

So, I receive their “box” of goodies in the mail…this was amazing!  The box was full, and I mean full, of awesome gluten free goodies, recipes, coupons…all kinds of stuff. It was great!  The food was really good too!

I thought this was a great concept, as people who are gluten free are always looking for new foods and ideas.  So, they came up with this great idea….once a month you will receive a box of gluten free foods, recipes and gluten free stuff.  You can try out the new gluten free foods, get great recipe ideas etc.

You may not like all the food that is in the box…but I think of it this way…I would rather receive a sample in the box and try it and not like it, than buy a huge bag of it to find out that I don’t like it!

Their price isn’t horrible either.  It’s only $19 a month.  I didn’t think that was too bad, as I have wasted more than that trying new foods and not liking them!

This is what I received in my package…Cruncha Ma-Me, Gluten Free Gourmet instant mac and cheese, Kay’s naturals pretzel sticks, Matt’s Munchies banana premium fruit snack, The Good Bean, Simply Sprouted Way Better Snacks, Halfpops, Macrobar, The Good Cookies, coupons and recipes.  Did I like everything?  No, but I did like quite a few items.

Their website is www.gfreely.com….check them out….you can send them as gifts too, which I thought was a cool idea!

If you have tried them, let us know what you thought of their product!!
